Kenny Rogers Dies At 81

Kenny Rogers, the country music star behind hits such as "The Gambler," "Lucille," and "Lady," died Friday night in his Georgia home, according to a statement posted by his family.

Rogers had 24 Number 1 hits and 6 CMA awards. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013 and officially retired with a farewell concert in 2017. 

His family said he passed peacefully at 10:25 p.m on March 20th, 2019 under hospice care. Kenny Rogers was 81 years old.
